“In your light I learn how to love.
In your beauty, how to make poems.
You dance inside my chest
where no-one sees you, but
sometimes I do, and
that sight becomes this art.”

Belonging

 On those days

When I look away in anger

Making cold mornings

Heartless

And empty nights

Soulless

In our dreams your

Heart talks to mine

As my soul holds

yours close

And it whispers its fears

And it shouts out its

Anger

And it pours out

joy and love

and at times

Darkness

And I say

My soul to your heart

Let me feel for you

Let me fall for you

Let me fail for you

Let me burn

To fuel

Your wings

Soaring above all

That is mundane

And once dared

to hold You down

in vain

You belong to the skies

And I belong to you
